Ted Knoell, principal of Realty Economic Advisors, is the acting Designated Broker in the state of Arizona and holds the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Knoell provides commercial and housing-related real estate brokerage, advisory, valuation, and certified appraisal services. For nearly two decades, Mr Knoell has provided real estate services for many types of traditional and non-traditional commercial and housing-related assets for acquisition, disposition, contract negotiations, mortgage lending, financial reporting, project viability, estate planning, tax appeal, and litigation support purposes.

Before founding Realty Economic Advisors and venturing out in 2019, Mr Knoell was Senior Vice President at the Strategic Valuation Group of Arizona since 2015 as a generalist, while being well regarded for his specialized experience in the housing sector. This followed his tenure at CBRE from 2006 to 2015, as Senior Appraiser in the Phoenix office, focused on commercial real estate and housing-related developments as leader of the Arizona Land and Subdivision Specialty Practice. The Arizona-based specialty practice was established by Mr Knoell during his tenure, and focused on land/acreage, entitlements, production-based and custom home subdivisions, master-planned communities, as well as townhome and condominium communities. Complementary to this specialty practice, Mr Knoell was recruited as 1 of the 10 initial national core members of CBRE’s VAS Seniors Housing and Healthcare specialty practice, in which he consulted and appraised age-restricted housing (55+), independent living (IL), assisted living (AL), skilled nursing (SN), and continuing care retirement communities (CCRC).

Mr Knoell’s unique blend of commercial real estate valuation and advisory experience provides clients with a meaningful value proposition. The value proposition is enhanced by localized research, data integrity, key metric applications, relevant market participant surveys, and timely and proactive solutions.
