Timothy Morrison entered the real estate business in 1974 as a staff appraiser with Winius Montandon Appraisers. In 1982 he joined Burke, Hansen & Homan Appraisers/Consultants as an Associate. He became the Chief Appraiser of American Continental Corporation, Lincoln Savings & Loan Association in 1985. In 1988, he joined Burke Hansen, Inc. as a partner/team leader until 2000.

Mr. Morisson then joined Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, Inc. as a Senior Appraiser of Valuation Advisory Services. He was a member of the Multifamily Housing and Senior Housing/Healthcare Industry groups. In 2005, he joined CBRE Richard Ellis and became Managing Director in January 2007. He was a member of the Hospitality Specialization Group of CBRE. In March 2008, he left to open his own firm, Strategic Valuation Group, PLC.

Coming from a combined lending and appraisal background, Mr. Morrison has an intimate understanding of value and knows the worth of an unbiased opinion. The skills that served him at the United States Naval Academy –self discipline and unwavering integrity – continue to serve him well today. During his 30+ years in the real estate industry, he has not only become familiar with most all property types, but has also gained a reputation as one of the top appraisers in the Valley.

A 52-year resident of the Valley, Mr. Morrison is an active member of the community, having served on the boards of the Men’s Art Council, Luke’s Men, Valley of the Sun Kiwanis, and Ktizo United Church of Christ.

EXPERIENCE

Mr. Morrison’s appraisal and consulting assignments have included multifamily residential projects, mobile home parks, office, retail centers, industrial, master-planned residential communities, lodging facilities, resort hotels, casinos, and undeveloped vacant land. Geographic areas of properties appraised include Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. He has qualified as an expert witness in Federal Bankruptcy Court.
